Mural Commissions
Chad Elliott is currently accepting mural and large-format commissions. Contact Alyssa for more information.
The Process
Proposal:
Once a size and space has been chosen for a mural, Chad Elliott will create a proposal for the project that includes a price and estimate for materials.
Design:
Once the proposal is accepted, Elliott will create a design and submit this for approval. Elliott appreciates suggestions of theme or direction for the project. A meeting or phone call can be schedule to discuss the design, if desired.
Timeframe:
Once the design is accepted, Elliott will schedule the project. Indoor projects can be completed year-round. Outdoor projects created on paneling can also be created year-round at Elliott Art Studio in Jefferson, IA. Outdoor projects painted directly on the surface must be scheduled when weather permits. Elliott makes every attempt to meet deadline requirements of clients.
Completion:
Elliott will let clients know when he is finished with the project. If the project is on paneling or canvas, Elliott will deliver the completed project.
Payment:
Elliott requires 20% of the project fee at the start. This is generally non-refundable as he will use it to purchase materials for the project. Upon completion, he will accept the remainder of the fee.
